Holbrook Says Experts Deny Katrina-Global-Warming Link
The publicans are getting out in front of an issue that could have legs — Katrina was caused by global warming. Out in the forefront of the opposition, bucking the storm winds, is Oklahoma Senator James Inhofe:
Bill Holbrook, spokesman for Environment and Public Works Committee Chairman James M. Inhofe (R-Okla.), said ”.. the notion that Katrina's intensity is somehow attributable to global warming has been widely dismissed by scientific experts."
Maybe so, but in a recent Science article, Georgia Tech researchers and the National Center for Atmospheric Research reported that the number of major Category 4 and 5 hurricanes worldwide has nearly doubled over the past 35 years. And, the researchers expresed the opinion that this strengthens the connection between global warming, rising sea temperatures, and the increasingly damaging hurricanes.
My advice? Invest in brick houses!
Also, if you think Climate Change is such a big problem, why don't you move to Canada and vote for Paul Martin. By the way, we all know you won't do it, just like Alex Baldwin said he would move to France. You Enviro-Eco-terror types have no spine...Get your science right...

Holbrook's right
Every other expert out there says there's no link. Stop your cherry-picking. You've got one report to counter dozens of other opinions from climate researchersOui Oui- Global Warming- Feelin Hot Hot Hot
For those non-mainstream wackos that think that climate change actually causes these big storms, get a life. Don't tell those residents in the Gulf Coast about Climate Change when the Polar Ice Caps are not melting and the storm in 1965 did a ton of damage and hurricanes dating back to the 1800s wiped away whole gulf coast communities. Also, if you think Climate Change is such a big problem, why don't you move to Canada and vote for Paul Martin.
