Gold-Mining At Ground Zero: Giuliani Profited from 911

“Whenever I hear him talk, I wanna scream out, 'God, he's so full of it!'” That's a quote from Rosaleen Talon, the sister of Sean Patrick Tallon, one of the NYFD fire fighters who died on 9/11, speaking in a video produced by the International Association of Firefighters PAC and posted at their www.Rudy-UrbanLegend.com website. We also have it right here. It accuses Rudy of buying crappy no-bid radios that failed to work in the WTC on 9/11, costing them their lives, while police all received notice to evacuate. Unfortunately there's no discussion of how anyone, even Giuliani, with his SuperMayor super-powers, could have known the towers were “about to collapse,” since everyone agrees the collapse of the three (3) towers was totally unanticipated. It faults Giuliani for accelerating the recovery after the big trove of gold bars was found, and slighting the search for human remains once that goal had been achieved. There is palpable resentment from the firefighters and their surviving loved ones toward Giuliani for grandstanding at the scene of the nation's most dramatic disaster, glory-grabbing in the presence of death.
